Inerting

For inerting pipes from Ø50 to Ø1500mm (larger sizes on request). These perfectly cylindrical balloons are fitted with a fireproof cover and a latex bladder.

IDEAL FOR INSERTION THROUGH A TUBE SPIGOT

Several options are available:

Stalkers are designed to ensure high-quality gas coverage when welding titanium, duplex steels and other reactive alloys.

They are suitable for any TIG or plasma torch, for manual or automatic welding, on pipes or plates. They can also be used as a welding backing.

The use of a diffusion stalk ensures bright, shiny solder joints, with no discoloration, oxidation or porosity.

Stragglers are manufactured to suit the application, as it is essential that the straggler conforms to the surface so as to protect the weld pool or the reverse side of the weld. They therefore come in concave, convex or flat shapes to protect the inner or outer face of the assembly to be welded.

An economical way of retaining backside protective gas.

For small-diameter pipes, stuff Dissolvo paper into each pipe section, on either side of the joint to be welded. For larger pipes (inner diameter 100mm and over), cut a disk of Dissolvo paper 60mm larger than inner diameter 100, cut to diameter 160)...
