An arc is created between a refractory tungsten electrode and the workpiece, under the protection of an inert gas; if filler metal is required, it is added at the front of the molten bath.
TIG welding produces exceptionally clean welds of very high metallurgical quality. There are many applications, particularly in fields where quality takes precedence over productivity: aeronautics, chemical engineering, food processing, stainless steel piping and all kinds of precise, delicate work.
The EWM TIG MACHINE range is one of the most comprehensive on the market, from the most user-friendly to the most programmable, from site stations to power ratings in excess of 500 amps.

    Inverter welding station, DC, gas-cooled
    TIG and coated electrode welding
    Modular (gas- or water-cooled)
Gas-cooled model: portable, with shoulder strap
Comfort: all parameters adjustable via user guidance, plus 8 programmable JOBs
Practical transport cart for power source, cooling module and gas cylinder
    Efficient welding with activArc technology
    Spotmatic - 50% less check-in time
Possibility of connecting remote control, function torch, cooling module
No tools or specialized personnel required to change the cooling module, no need to work inside the welding station
    3 m mains cable with 16 A safety plug
Surge protection: no damage to the substation from accidental connection to 400 V mains voltage
